Themed Wine Tastings

Fancy taking part in a Tour de France without breaking into a sweat?  How about journeying through the regions of Spain without having to lace up your hiking boots? Want to compete in a Wine World Cup without the need to know the offside rule?

You can do all this and more at an Inverarity Tasting Event. 

We are incredibly proud of our amazing range of wines and the best way to show them off is to let you all taste them!  We regularly host tasting events which can be themed around a particular region, country or style of wine.  We could focus on your favourite grape variety, showing examples from around the world.  Or if you fancy an element of competition to your evening, why not try one of our blind tastings such as ‘Spot the Kiwi’ or ‘Wine Man’s Buff’. 

It doesn’t matter if you know a lot about wine or absolutely nothing at all.  Our presentation style is informal, we definitely don’t do ‘stuffy’....wine is there to be enjoyed after all.  In fact, you don’t even have to stick to wine, we also host whisky tastings and cigar events. 

We cater for any number of tasters depending on venue size (we can comfortably fit 24 people into our shop in Bath Street, Glasgow or 36 in Montrose Terrace, Edinburgh).  Prices start from just £10 per head, and the ticket price directly reflects the cost of the bottles on the table.  We promise never to do a hard sell on the night, and if Pete starts going on and on about visiting Burgundy (again) just tell him to stop!
