Malbec Ben Marco 2008 75cl

A real classic example of what you should be expecting when you open a bottle of Argentinean red – dark red berries, light spice, a really approachable palate and structured tannins that will have you begging out for a steak. 

Malbec is quite an intense small grape that needs more sun than Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot. Luckily Ben Marco Malbec is grown at over 3000 feet above sea level; just to get the little bit extra sun. And just make it even juicier they have added some Bonarda grapes in.

A meat lover’s red wine if ever there was one – But don’t worry non-meat eaters this wine doesn’t always have to go with steak, give a try with a cheese board.
