Inverarity is indeed honoured to represent wines from the Thienpont Family such as Vieux Château Certan and exclusively Château Puygueraud from the lesser known appellation of Côtes de Francs, an amazing array of wines as only one would expect.
Château Puygueraud was purchased by the Thienpont family at the end of the 1940s and is now run by their son, Nicolas. It is a gorgeous 14th century chateau with an ancient tower and commanding views over the Côtes de Francs. Nicolas’s first vintage was 1983 and was an immediate success. Thirty hectares are planted with 55% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec with an annual production of 5000 cases.
