My go to claret....
I first tried this one last christmas and i was blown away by the quality and the power thats in the bottle. First galss is a meaty dark, rich beast of a wine, with time the beast settles and allows a free flowing mass of red berry fruit goodness to come flying out.
The blend is 75% Cabernet Franc and 25% Merlot and 2009 is one of the finest Bordeaux vintages in living memory. Some people are advising me to cellar a few to see just how good a vintage really is but I'd rather wrestle this beast when it's at full strength
Why not try this one with another bottle of Ch. Benoit 2009 - one bottle is NOT enough.
