Grove Mill Wines

Initially exhibiting strong straw and hay characteristics, typical of the variety.  A very seamless entry onto the palate. Good texture and quite a complete mouth-feel.  A nice clean exit from the palate with some oak and white peach aftertaste.  Very persistent.

Grove Mill was founded in 1988 in Marlborough by a group of local grape growers. The company grew vintage by vintage, and in 1994 a new winery was built in the Waihopai Valley, near Blenheim. Grove Mill believes in producing world class wines with minimal environmental impact. The company became the world’s first CarboNZero wine company in 2007. Behind the winery, Grove Mill’s wetlands is a conservation area housing many endangered species including the Southern Bell, Grove Mill’s mascot.
