| Introducing the Francesca Bay range |
|
This estate is run by a great husband and wife team, Dayne runs the vineyard and winery and Jill promotes the wines. We were 'knocked for six' when we tasted the wine and had to persuade them to allow us to have the sole UK rights - thankfully they agreed
Both the Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are classic examples of their respective styles, which are made for us in Marlborough by an outstanding family operation. New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc has been established itself at a wonderfully high standard in recent years, and Francesca Bay is no exception. The superb crunchy Granny Smith apple fruit, with tropical fruit notes, makes this Marlborough Sauvignon an ideal partner to seafood dishes.
Francesca Bay Pinot Noir offers a wonderful array of soft dark berry fruit character with a little spice and structure, that lets you know exactly what quality of wine you are dealing with. This is a great alternative to Red Burgundy that can be so fickle within the same price bracket.
